Site Characterization & Remediation
GEC’s seasoned professionals bring a tremendous amount of experience to each and every project. We have conducted a wide variety of site characterization and remediation activities in just about every type of geologic terrane throughout the United States. GEC can design and implement practical soil and groundwater programs, geophysical studies and hydrogeologic assessments to obtain data regarding the severity and extent of impacts. After site characterization, our remediation group provides a full range of remedial program management services to optimize your environmental site remediation.

Installation, Operation & Maintenance of Remediation Systems
Since 1997, GEC has provided clients with unparalleled service in pilot testing, design, and operation and maintenance of remediation systems. Selection of the appropriate technology is essential. We emphasize careful and accurate pilot testing as the cornerstone of building the best, most cost-effective remediation system for our clients.

Rapid Response
GEC provides 24 hour/7 days a week/365 days a year approach to dealing with emergency spill responses. Once we are notified of the spill, GEC is ready to mobilize immediately. Our technicians and managers have the know-how and experience to handle spills of petroleum, oil, bulk products, industrial materials, wastes, and hazardous wastes.

Environmental Site Assessment
GEC can assemble a team of specialized professionals tailored to your Environmental Site Assessment or All Appropriate Inquiry project needs. Our professionals frequently conduct and supervise comprehensive Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments for clients with a variety of project requirements. Our Environmental Site Assessment team will take care of your project needs efficiently and offer cost-effective solutions to any environmental problems.

Risk Assessment
There are many regulatory options available today. GEC recognizes that active remediation is not always feasible, and in some cases not warranted, for site closure. Our Risk Assessment team has successfully petitioned regulatory authorities, on behalf of our clients, to allow risk-based alternatives in lieu of active remediation at contaminated sites. The end result is that our clients have closed sites ahead of schedule and under budget.

Compliance & Permitting
The GEC staff is comprised of industry-tested individuals, having a wide range of experience working within the framework of local, state, and federal regulations. Our experienced professionals can assist you in sifting through the myriad of statutes and evolving regulations to help assess their impact on your facility’s compliance.
