Toledo, OH Office

Project Manager

BS or MS in Geology, Engineering or related field  with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience required. Strong technical background and extensive client & project management experience required. Individual should be detail oriented, self-motivated, be able to delegate and have experience in fast paced, highly demanding, multi-state retail petroleum consulting. Michigan CP Certification, acceptable Indiana Registration, and RCRA experience desired. Must be proficient in the use of MS Office applications. Responsibilities include: technical project supervision, budget management, client management, report writing, project management, mentoring of junior staff members and regulatory agency interaction. Groundwater modeling skills, risk assessment and knowledge of remediation pilot testing, design and system performance/optimization preferred. hr@geoencon.com

Staff Geologist / Engineer / Scientist

BS or MS in Geology, Engineering or related science with 2 to 4 years of experience in retail petroleum environmental projects, hydrogeologic site characterizations, monitoring well installation, sample collection and processing, remedial system operation and maintenance and data analysis and report writing. Candidate must also have working knowledge of BUSTR and a general knowledge of VAP regulations is desired. Must be proficient in the use of MS Office applications. Current OSHA Hazwoper training is preferred. Applicant must possess excellent technical writing and communication skills, have a general knowledge of construction practices, and possess valid driver's license. Entry Level Geologist / Technician

BS or MS in Geology, Engineering or related science and 0 to 2 years experience in environmental projects, soil and groundwater sample collection and processing, remedial system operation and maintenance and field activity documentation. Knowledge of general construction practices helpful. Current OSHA Hazwoper certificate would be beneficial. Collecting accurate and precise field activity documentation is a requirement of the position. Must also be willing to travel extensively during the week to job sites throughout the Midwest, possess excellent communication skills and have a valid driver's license. Environmental Technician

BS in Environmental Science or high school diploma with mechanical, electrical or plumbing experience. 0-2 years experience with soil and groundwater sampling, remediation system installations and O&M. Pittsburgh, PA Office

Project / Senior Engineer

BS or MS in Engineering (environmental, mechanical, or civil) with 5+ years experience with Pa. 25 Ch. 245 and 250 report writing.  Pennsylvania Professional Engineer's registration and current OSHA Hazwoper training is desired. The primary responsibilities of this individual will include project management, remedial design, system installation QA/QC, and system optimization. Technical report writing and data analysis skills are a must. Experience working with Pennsylvania UST/CAP/ACT 2 regulations desired. Staff Geologist

BS or MS in Geology with  with 5+ years experience with Pa. 25 Ch. 245 and 250 report writing. Relevant experience would include hydrogeologic site characterizations, groundwater monitoring well installation, aquifer testing, sample collection, data analysis and report writing. Experience working with Pennsylvania UST/CAP/ACT 2 regulations is required. Position includes field and office duties as dictated by workload. Must be proficient in the use of MS Office.
